Of Mice and Men

This play is set in the USA in the 30s during the Great Depression. It is the story of two friends, George and Lennie who are trying to find a job in California. They work on farms as farms hands.

George is a smart guy and he takes care of Lennie, Lennie is more of a child in his head but is strong as a horse. Lennie has a problem, he likes to touch things and if the things he touches dosent like it he grabs it and doesn't let go. That makes a lot of trouble in the play and it ends with Lennie as a dead man.

George and Lennie had a dream, they dreamed of a little place that they were going to buy with their own money, and they were going to grow the fields and plants. That dream ended fast when he was unlucky an killed a woman. This dream is actually a example of the American Dream, starting with nothing and ending with having a plase vere they can grow the fields and leev ther life til they day. This is what Lennie and George are doing.

In the beginning Lennie is just a man valking whit George they kame from a plase vere they vor vorking, Lennie made problems and they had to run away. Lennie is a stupid man ho doesent know rigt or wrang.

The moust intresting thing with the play is frindchip, i dont know if it was friendchip or if it was just George jusing Lennie for the mony. as I said earlier Lennie vase a inkredebol strong man, and he was god vit hes job. I think having Lennie as a friend bringd more problems then mony and as a punisment for jusing Lennie he had to kil him at the end. maybe George just hem, but.......
